Questions about pricing

How does billing work?

If you subscribe on our website, you pay through Stripe, which handles the payment. Its service Onelink (which may also appear as Link) issues your receipt, and your card statement shows the payment as coming from Onelink or Link, followed by Plainzy (for example “ONELINK* PLAINZY” or “LINK.COM* PLAINZY”). Your plan renews every month or every year until you cancel. UK prices include VAT. If you subscribe in the iPhone app, Apple handles the billing. Either way, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

How does the free trial work?

New subscribers get 7 days free, once per account. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. If you don't cancel, you are charged when the trial ends. We will email you before it does.

How do I cancel?

On the website: sign in at plainzy.com, open Pricing and choose Manage subscription. You can also use the Manage subscription link in your Onelink receipt email. Onelink may ask you to create a Onelink account with your mobile number first, so the Manage subscription button on our Pricing page is usually quicker. On iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. If you subscribed on the website, you can get a full refund within 14 days. See section 4 of our Terms.

Can I switch between monthly and annual?

Yes, on the website. Sign in at plainzy.com, open Pricing, choose Manage subscription, then Update subscription. Monthly to annual starts straight away, and you pay the annual price less a credit for the unused part of your month. Annual to monthly waits until the end of the period you have paid for, so switching to monthly doesn’t charge you now. Until it starts, Pricing shows your current plan and a line such as “Renews 28 October 2027 at £3.99 a month”. You can cancel a waiting switch from Manage subscription. On iPhone, change plan in Settings, then Subscriptions; Apple decides when the change applies.

Why did I get an email from Apple, Stripe, Onelink or RevenueCat?

Depending on how you subscribe, you may get receipts or confirmations from the companies that handle your payment. Apple sends its own emails for iPhone subscriptions. Stripe, Onelink and RevenueCat (our subscription billing provider) may send them for website subscriptions, including your receipt and any trial or renewal notices. Onelink also sends a receipt when your free trial starts and when you change plan during the trial. These show £0.00, because nothing is charged until your trial ends. They send these, not Plainzy, and they come on top of our own emails about your plan. We can't control what they send or when. If you have a question about a charge, email hello@plainzy.com.

Do I need an account to use the free plan?

No. You can start straight away. Signing in saves your history to your account so you can find it again.

Where is Plainzy available?

Plainzy is available in the countries listed on our Availability page, including the UK, the EU, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Website and iPhone subscriptions are available in the same countries.

Is Plainzy legal advice?

No. Plainzy explains contracts in plain English and flags things worth a closer look. It isn't a substitute for a solicitor.

Is my contract kept?

Your contract text is sent to the AI for analysis, and we don't keep the original document. If you're signed in, your results are stored so you can come back to them. We don't train AI models on your documents.
